Objectives	Depth sensing can be accomplished in many different ways. We focus on the Time-of-Flight technology as there has been a lot of improvement recently. Depending on the application, there are different requirements. identify our applications that require depth in addition to image data collect requirements on the quality of the captured depth, frame rate, spatial and depth resolution identify currently used Tof depth sensing systems and challenges for the named applications identify future research for improving these systems
